How long have you been in business?
Alliant has been in business since 1989.
What is your primary product or service?
Founded 1989, Alliant specializes in total IT solutions for small business clients. Alliant is an excellent outsourcing solution for computer/network support, project management, training and data applications. How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Originally intending to be a teacher, I graduated with degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Education. I worked my way through school taking several jobs including automating the university’s mailing list using the newly acquired Data General minicomputer.
Upon graduation I started my first business developing customer software. I developed many interesting applications including a horse race track, fitness center, beer distributor and roller skating rink. I next went on to help found United Sales & Service, a company that provided authorized printer repair services and custom programming.
Eventually taking the company over, I rebranded it as Alliant Technology Group. I have transformed the company from a simple break-fix business to an IT managed services provider. Our success and growth have come from the trust placed in us by our customers. I look forward to adding additional services for our customers and leading Alliant into the future.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Alliant has loyal customers because they receive high level personalized services. Because Alliant is just big enough to take care of our customers, we can give the special service of one small business to another.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
With 85% of Alliant's services carried out remotely the physical location of service is less an issue. However, we are making plans to expand our current main office in Arcadia/Pasadena into a second office in Encino/Tarzana and another in Irvine.

Small-Medium Business Managed IT Services; Back-up and Disaster Recovery; Security Systems, including Email SPAM/VIRUS protection.
What are your hours of operation?
We monitor networks 24x7 for all sizes of companies with Basic or Complete Protection, based on need.
