Each Boys & Girls Club of the South Bay is a dedicated Youth Facility, an actual neighborhood-based location for youth programs and activities. Youth friendly and youth accessible, the Clubs are open during the critical after-school hours, when kids have free time, little or no supervision and need positive, productive outlets. A nominal $20 annual fee for Club membership provides youth with access to, and use of, all facilities, programs and services the Clubs have to offer. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the South Bay offers youth a well-rounded program of activities, providing opportunities for positive growth and development. Programs fall into seven categories: 1) Character & Leadership; 2) Education & Career; 3) Health & Life Skills; 4) Arts; 5) Sports, Fitness & Recreation; 6) Specialized Initiatives and 7) Family Literacy. The programs and services offered vary by Club facility.
