How long have you been in business?
I have been practicing for 2 1/2 years and in business locally for 7 months.
What is your primary product or service?
I provide traditional, complementary, and alternative medical services as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Alternative and complementary treatments include homeopathy, herbal medicine, and nutrition counseling.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always been interested in community health and education. I started my academic path with a BS in Nutrition while I also became a licensed EMT, Pharmacy Technician, and Cetified Personal Trainer. In these different areas I was able to work extensively with the community regardng health-related issues and realized that I wanted to provide a greater scope of practice as a medical doctor.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My practice provides integrative health care as I offer my patients a well-rounded perspective from a diverse background and various areas of expertise. I am able to fully address their health concerns using conventional methods of diagnosis and assessment while providing a variety of options in reaching their health goals with both conventional and alternative/complementary treatments.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I currently have 1 office in Los Angeles. I also offer my patients the convenience of online and phone consultation in some cases. I have plans to expand to other areas of California in the future.
