Loving and Proclaiming Jesus Christ
We are a community of three small church congregations which meet in Bell Gardens, a city southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Our desire is to bring honor and glory to God by teaching the Bible so that all may believe by grace through faith that Jesus Christ saves sinners, apart from any human effort or merit, and in order that we may be made mature in our knowledge, love, and proclamation of Jesus Christ.

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
The church was officially incorporated March 31, 1942. Nearly three years prior, worship services and Sunday school classes began meeting in an unfinished building on Perry Road. Services in English have been held consistently since that time. Services in Spanish began in 1974.
What is your primary product or service?
We teach the Bible in order that we might know how to have a right relationship with Jesus Christ (who is God) for eternal life and that we might know how to respond to earthly life in a way that also pleases him. The Bible is God's Word to humanity, which is our only source to know what to believe (faith) and how to live (practice).
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The individuals who comprise this community come from different cultures and ethnicities. But we all have the same background. We are all sinners according to God. And, those who believe what he has said about us and what he has done for us, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are still sinners but forgiven eternally. His forgiveness restores us to a right relationship with God.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our mission is essentially the same as all churches which teach and preach that salvation from eternal death is only available through Jesus Christ, apart from any work, deed, or merit we might like to contribute. If there is a unique distinction in these particular congregations, we believe God has led us to primarily focus on explaining the Scriptures verse-by-verse. It is through this means which God works to transform each of us in our thoughts, values, words, responses, and actions. We recognize that God leads each congregation to respond in various and unique ways, not as competition between us, but for his glory (that is, whatever pleases him).
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
While there is a physical building where we gather together to corporately worship and serve Jesus Christ, individually our very life is an expression of God's work, whether in our home, neighborhood, school, place of employment, social occasions, or recreation.

What type of payments do you accept?
There is no charge for our services. Those among the community who are led by God voluntarily share in the expenses and advancement of teaching the Bible locally and globally.
Which areas do you service?
Because the church house is located in Bell Gardens, in the Southeast portion of Los Angeles County, most of the community of believers come from this area. Being Los Angeles, it is not uncommon for some to drive from as far as a 25 mile radius.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
First and foremost, the Church is "owned" by Jesus Christ. He purchased us with his blood shed on the cross for our sins. The particular ministries and property of the local congregations that meet on Perry Road are led by godly men chosen from among the community that assembles here.
What are your hours of operation?
Sunday. The English worship service begins at 10:00 AM. The Spanish worship services begin at 10:00 AM. There are other meetings throughout the week for a variety of groups. Details for these services can be obtained from our website or by contacting us.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. -Ephesians 2:8-10.
