We are the local Catholic High School in your own back yard. It is our mission to provide your children with the finest College Preparatory education.
Our academic program allows Advance Placement (AP) Courses to be taken at the sophomore level, which includes Honors classes at every grade level. All courses meet the A – G subject requirements list of the Cal State and UC schools.
Our teachers have either graduate degrees, teaching credentials or both and teach only within their area of expertise.
We are committed to working with our parents to insure our students maintain a high college admission rate so they can attend the college of “their choice.”
Our faculty is part of a Professional Learning Community so as to be at the cutting edge of the teaching profession thereby always assessing the needs of our students. With this circle of support, our students earn admission to the most prestigious universities, which include Georgetown University, USC, University of Washington, Dartmouth, Brown, Stanford, UCLA, Fordham, UC Berkeley, Yale, LMU…just to name a few.
As a member of CIF, we support all the major sports on our beautiful and spacious 14 acre campus, as well as a very accomplished performing arts program.
We are proud of our Catholic heritage, praying as a catholic community three times per day. Our teachers open each period with prayer. We have two chapels and a campus ministry program that reaches out to our community in service.
In the words of His Eminence Cardinal Roger Mahony, “…as we look ahead to the next 50 years here at St. Bernard, I encourage you to know your gifts and place those at the service of one another.”
