What is your primary product or service?
Both physicians at Spring Family Medical offer General Family and Sports Medicine with the availability of house visits and after hour emergency calls.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr., Jared Piety, originally from Oklahoma, attended the University of Kansas, first as a Chemical Engineer, then continued on to Medical School. The University of Kansas trains its graduates to be the "only" physicians in a smaller farming town, thus the training in internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, minor surgery, and acute medicine were emphasized, with travel being 125-200 miles to additional consultants or large hospitals.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Spring Family Medical offers personal services not offered by general practitioners. Both Doctors are available by phone and by pager 24 hours a day to one and all patients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The Spring Family Medical Group operates from one single location in Long Beach, CA but both Doctors are affiliated with other facilities, hospitals, and clinics.
