How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I embraced a career in insurance sales and services upon graduating from college. In 1972 employee benefits was not a specialty within the insurance industry. As this line of coverage and the professional requirements and responsibilities grew I specialized in the discipline and created my company to serve the business community.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have defined and expanded the definition of employee benefits to include, human resource tools, compliance services, patient advocacy, and wellness strategies. We position a dedicated account manager with the client as to provide day to day support for plan administration and advocacy. Essentially we act as an extension of the client's HR Department.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have created a national partnership called United Benefit Advisors. This company of which Maniaci Insurance Services, Inc is a partner is the third largest provider of employee benefits in the nation. We have 140 offices nationally and 17 in the State of California.

Located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, our office is located on Silver Spur Road between Hawthorne and Crenshaw, directly across the street from The Promenade. Maniaci Insurance Services is accessible via the 405 freeway (exit Crenshaw heading south) or Pacific Coast Hwy to Hawthorne, heading south up the hill to Silver Spur road (take left) and at the second light take an additional left into the corporate complex. The exact address is 500 Silver Spur Road, Suite 500.

Payment is exchanged directly between client and insurance carriers on a monthly basis.
