How long have you been in business?
Global Animal Transport as a company has been in business for 12 years. However, the owners and founders of the company have been in the business for 32 years prior to starting their own company.
What is your primary product or service?
We transport live animals of all kinds, i.e,; household pets, wildlife, exotics, tropical fish, zoological & aquarium animals worldwide.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have both a backgrond veterinary medicine and also transportation as freight forwarders. We were asked to come into this business by clients and associates both in the U.S. and abroad.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have the "hands on" experience to work with just about every kind of animal safely and efficiently. We also have the background and industry knowledge through our experience as freight forwarders to ensure every animal travels the safest route with the appropriate carriers and arrives in the shortest amount of time.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At present we have our H.Q. office here in California and we have a branch office in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. We also have a joint venture location in Sydney, Australia and hope to expand further with a new joint venture office in Costa Rica very soon.
What type of payments do you accept?
Our company accepts payments through Cash, Personal Checks (if guaranteed by credit card), Cashiers check, all major credit cards, PayPal and the Intuit Payment Network.
Which areas do you service?
We transport animals worldwide.
What are your hours of operation?
We answer our phones 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Our operations in the transport of animals is 24/7 we hold no set hours and do whatever is necessary to support animals in transit.
